About Us
Our Goals & Approach
Goals: The Wimberley Valley Republican Group has been created to bring like
minded conservative thinking people together. As an auxiliary group under the
Hays County Republican Executive Committee and PAC (Political Action
Committee), we meet periodically to discuss different topics of interest, hear
County and State Republican candidate views, participate in community
activities such as the Lincoln-Reagan Dinner, the 4th of July Parade, support
our local Republican candidates in General Elections, as well as support the
activity of Precinct Chairs in our geographic region.
As a group, we are facilitators. We are not a source of campaign funding. Also,
as a PAC, we do NOT campaign for any individual candidate in primary races.
However, individual members may extend support, both financial and otherwise,
to the individual candidates in these races.
Approach: During the year we participate in many activities. This includes, but
is not limited to, hosting forums for Primary and General Elections; selling
tickets for the main fund-raiser for the Hays County Republican Group which is
the Lincoln-Reagan dinner; having meetings on current topics such as border
issues and immigration; arranging for bus trips to different functions such as the
San Antonio Tea Party; support of the second amendment; local bond and
highway issues, plus numerous other activities that are of interest to the our
members. Our year ends with a Christmas party to enjoy the camaraderie of all
of our members and guests. We attempt to encourage participation of all
members We offer a slate of functions that need to be performed and ask the
membership to volunteer in running these programs.

Who We Are
The Wimberley Valley Republican
Group started as a small grass roots
organization of eleven people of like
mind who were frustrated with the
trampling of our Constitution. Since
then, our organization has become a
Republican PAC (Political Action
Group) and has grown rapidly
throughout the Wimberley Valley and
neighboring communities. We join
together at meetings and other events
to support our candidates of choice and
promote conservative philosophy in our
community. Our focus is protecting our
nation, supporting the Constitution,
limiting government, and protecting
individual freedom.
It is our desire to drag the GOP
back to it's Conservative core
originally articulated by the
Founders of The United States.

"Upcoming Events" tab. Check back
often as we have many new events
planned as well as some exciting
candidates and guest speakers.
